R & L CAD Services Pty Ltd was founded in 1993 in response to the increasing demand for 3D modelling, training and customising of CAD systems.  Working with local, interstate and international clients, R & L CAD Services has built a reputation for quality and excellence in these fields.

The Plate 'n' Sheet Development software project grew from a demand by the local coal and sugar industries for a fast and accurate method of unfolding frequently used shapes such as cones, branches and transitions. Such a system would have to be simple to use with a high level of compatibilty to CAD systems, particularly AutoCAD.

Over the last 10 years the number of shapes and capabilities of the program has increased and is currently used by businesses in many countries around the world.
