R & L CAD Services Pty Ltd  (ABN 39 073 765 410) was founded in 1993 in response to the demand for 3D modelling and custom CAD systems.  Working with local, interstate and international clients, R & L CAD Services has built a reputation for quality and excellence in these fields.

The Plate 'n' Sheet Professional software project grew from a demand for a fast and accurate method of unfolding shapes used by the coal and sugar industries.  A key specification was that such a system would have to be simple to use with a high level of compatibilty to CAD systems, particularly AutoCAD.

The shapes, such as chutes, cones, branches and transitions, are also common to many other industries.  Over the last 14 years the number of shapes and capabilities of the program has increased and is currently used by businesses in many other industries around the world.
